I was looking at the metro website today and came across an article about a british born boy who was captured in Punjab at his Grand-parents house. He doesn't speak any other language but English and the kidnappers have asked for £100,000.This could be a good example of a crime thriller. I thought this because the police are appealing to everyone globally and because his parents have said that they are not able to reach the £100k deadline. This can also be seen as an action thriller as the article says "They were fully loaded with guns and hand grenades."
This would make a great suspensful film.
